The MCYO KAMERATA! is a new modern string orchestra conducted and directed by the Philharmonic team of Maestro Sanz, Elizabeth Leung (string coach) and Isaiah Shim (assistant conductor). Led by Maestro Sanz and Maestro Shim, this orchestra will provide a new, exciting, passionate, and highly musical experience for high school aged string players. In addition to tackling classical string orchestra repertoire, this new cutting edge ensemble will also perform adventurous repertoire including: new modern compositions, movie scores, Anime scores, and other non-traditional orchestral works that are not performed by any other MCYO ensemble!
